About our rotating artist:
Trym Killi
Originally from Norway, photographer Trym Killi is admittedly enamored with the black and white aesthetic. After being inspired by a Bruce Davidson exhibit at the Cleveland Art Museum about 4 years ago, Trym began tinkering with old cameras and began creating the analog images now on display at Alberta's. All aspects of the photography are done at Trym's hands.

"All the variables that come into play when chemically developing and toning a print, as well as manipulating exposure(dodging and burning) results in no two prints being exactly the same. The prints on display are the best examples, picked from batches of less than half a dozen successful prints. They are then dry mounted on ragboard at visual center, in what used to be the standard for photography presentation."

Prints are available for $100 each. Contact Trym at Themarzipanoflicorice@gmail.com to purchase.
